Adamstown is a borough that is located in Lancaster County. It has developed into Berks Count in the U.S state of Pennsylvania. According to the census done in 2010, the town has a population of 1,789. Of the total population, 1772 were in Lancaster County, and 17 were in Berks County. Initially, the town was founded by William Addams in 1761. It is a site of the former village of the Native Americans. Formerly, Addams named the town Addamsburry.
