Hershey is a census-designated place and unincorporated community located in Derry Township, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania in the United States of America. The town has various attractions such as the Hershey’s Chocolates which is a manufactur company in Hershey. The chocolate company was founded by candy magnate Milton S. Hershey. It is part of Harrisburg –Carlisle Metropolitan Statistical Area and located 14 miles to the east of Harrisburg. Currently, the town has no legal rights to provide municipal services hence Derry Township provides its services. Census done in 2010 showed that the region has a population of 14,257. Because of the chocolate production, the town is referred to as The Sweetest Place on Earth.
